A brief
hiatus on posts – we’re off on a 10 day holiday to Greece.
I hope
you all manage to get a decent break.
Thanks
for all your comments this year. I’ll be sure to toast your health with a
bottle of cold beer (after I’ve toasted myself on the beach).
Lots of love

Enjoy the sunshine! x
Enjoy your jollies Spence.
Hope you and the family have a fantastic break.
Bottle of Ouzo through duty free would be nice.....
Cheers Laura! And the good thing is, I already feel quite acclimatised... 8:) x
Jack - No worries. And if you hear of an Englishman getting arrested at Skiathos airport with an Uzi in his rucksack, you'll know who it is...
Hooray! Have a great time with the family. I'm a staycationer myself, but every now and then have the urge to travel.
Thanks tpals. Staycationing is also wonderful. Have a brilliant & sunny time, whatever you do!
Right on! You deserve a break. Especially after St. Agnes the Eccentric. Heh. I hope you and your family thoroughly enjoy yourselves.
Thanks v much, Cassandra.
She was all right, St Agnes. Emphatically so.
I hope you catch a lovely break, too.
Can't wait! (Friday morning flight - humane time - bliss...)

Thas a great idea!
Hope you manage to get away somewhere lovely, too L. x
Lovely, Spence, have a great time at the beach. Sun makes all days better, esp vacation days.
There is wifi in Greece you know - and a huge number of interesting people to write about - entirely unreasonable to expect us to hold our breath in your absence......Lx
Hope you had a great vacation! If the wasn't an EMS blog I'd say write a little piece on an experience you had on vacation so us less lucky folks can live vicariously through you via a story haha.

Just got back the other day, Lynda / L / E - sorry for the delay in replying!
You're right about the sun, Lynda. Luckily, the weather in the UK was really good before we went, so I didn't even need to do much acclimatising. Have you been to Greece? I can recommend it - lovely country, great people.
L - We did get wifi in a couple of the tavernas, but I didn't do anything about it. I was twitchy at first, but it soon passed! I did keep some notes, though, and I'm going to write them up in a little post later today ( I know - nothing worse than looking at other people's holiday snaps - so I promise I'll keep it short, and won't be the least bit offended if you skip it!)
E - It was lovely, thanks. Over way too soon. And now I've got the 'back from holiday' blues (pause whilst someone plays something appropriately tragic on the world's smallest violin.
