Shameless request for help!

Thank you so much to anyone who's already bought the ebook Frank's Last Call. I really appreciate your support. But I'm going to be even cheekier and ask for something more - reviews!

If you've read the book - or even just part of it - it'd be so helpful if you could post a review on Amazon or Smashwords. I'm not after flattery. Be as honest as possible, a couple of lines would do - but the more reviews I get the better it is in terms of publicity & profile.

By the way - I've got an author's page at Amazon now, which has a discussion / forum board. But of course you can always contact me directly by email / comment here.

Thanks again!

SK

Isla, Mike (and Chris and Kath) - A huge thank you for the reviews! I know I say it a lot, but it's true - I owe you big time! I'll def sort something out - maybe for the next one (which I'm finishing off now.. fiction / a psychological thriller to do with cults - a paramedic features in it, but it's not an ambulance book ..)

Maybe I should ditch all that and write a travel book - Frank's Travels on a Bike round Europe. I bet he'd keep an interesting diary!

Thanks again for the reviews. V much appreciated :)

Hey Jacks!
I was just typing out my reply when you posted your comment - sorry the timing was all out there!

Potted plants. Hm. I've got this aloe vera outside the front door. It's a bit scary though. Like a teenage triffid. You need full body armour to pick it up. Prob a tazer. Shame you're so far up North. I've got a ton of redcurrants we can't think what to do with. Summer pudding... erm ... jam maybe?

Not that I'm trying to bribe you or anything... It's just gardening talk...

Thank you for your help in this matter, Mr Buxton. I am glad you saw sense at last and did what was asked of you. Please. Sit down. I hope the martini is mixed to your satisfaction. All I ask is one more little favour and our business together will be concluded. Soon a woman will walk into your shop. A smartly dressed woman, with a - how you say - certain manner. Her name is Rosa. She will say: What is the difference between an angry circus owner and a Roman barber? You will answer: One is a raving showman, the other is a shaving Roman. She will hand you a packet and leave. In this packet will be more reviews. Lots of reviews. You will post these reviews. Only then will our business be concluded. Welcome to self-publishing Mr Buxton.

Hey Spence,

Just finished the book, and loved it, beautifully written. Was disappointed to see that Dolly, Queen of the Wallop didn't make the cut. Please can she have a starring role in the next book...?

Thanks very much, Heather. Really glad you liked the book. I'd forgotten about Dolly. She is a good character & probably deserves her own story - as I'm sure she'd agree.

The next book does feature a paramedic, but it's not actually about the ambulance service. It's more of a psychological thriller, about cults! Should be out in a few weeks now.

PS I know it's cheeky, but if you fancy writing a couple of line on Amazon, that'd be great ;) x
