criminal crackers

SK: (to man hyperventilating on trolley) Would you say you’d been particularly stressed lately?
He nods
SK: Anything in particular?
MAN: The Witness Protection Programme

YOUNG GIRL: My eldest sister’s coming back from university tomorrow. I’m really looking forward to doing the usual Christmas things – opening presents, eating loads, playing games…
SK: Oh yeah? What kind of games?
YG: Newmarket, Rummy, Cluedo, Monopoly. Cluedo’s a favourite. Which is funny ‘cos my sister’s away studying Forensic Psychology. She always loses, though. I think she’s so busy profiling Colonel Mustard she forgets to mark her cards.

Great. I shall continue chuckling for the rest of the day. Thanks.

Wishing all ambulance staff everywhere a Happy Christmas and a good slide into 2011!

And for those working over either or both weekends: hope you have a decent shift and everyone decides NOT to eat or drink too much or have a heart attack/stroke after fighting with the family about what to watch on TV! And that someone brings you some mince pies (I would but I live too far away in mainland Europe). And that you get to finish on time - looks like mine hasn't!

Many thanks from a paramedic's mum

Not bad, thanks Jacks. Working unfortunately, but had most of the day at home on the 25th. Felt odd drinking Schloer, but the good thing is, just saying the name makes you feel drunk.

Hope you're having a good one.
